A sand-coloured landscape
Messa House is a boutique conceived as one continuous, sand-coloured landscape. Walls, floor, shelving and furniture share the same warm tone, so the eye moves through the space without interruption.
Curved shells of plaster rise from the floor and create intimate fitting and display niches. Tiled columns and a deep coffered ceiling give the room a calm, almost archaeological order.
Objects on display
Built-in shelving holds sculptural objects and folded pieces as if in a gallery. Clothing hangs on slender rails inside the curved walls, lit softly so the fabrics keep their natural colour.
